Hello fellow Tourists by Chance.
Today, I would just like to write a brief post on L’Asino D’Oro cultural association.
These guys do tours of the Eternal City, throughout the year and are definitely worth mentioning!
I recently wrote two posts following my tours with L’Asino D’Oro and if you missed them, you can read them here: A Tour with L’Asino D’Oro | Castel Sant’Angelo by Night & Pyramid of Cestius | Discovering the Pyramid of Rome.
Rome Tours – L’Asino D’Oro
L’Asino D’Oro or The Golden Donkey, organizes guided walking tours to discover Rome in an original and fun way.
The association was founded in 2013 with the intent to promote and spread the knowledge of the interesting and vast historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the Eternal City.
The best part is that the association staff consists of archaeologists and historians!
Within their monthly schedule, in addition to the more traditional visits to the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, you will always find a lot of interesting proposals: sites with special openings, tours of the Underground Rome and many walks to discover the most hidden Rome.
Experience the masterpieces and the many cultural riches that make Rome, the Eternal City.
Explore and discover the history behind Borghese Gallery, Galleria Doria Pamphili and the Capitoline Museums or walk through the impressive ruins of Ancient Rome (Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, Terme di Caracalla and Trajan’s Market).
And why not see the squares and the most famous fountains in the city (Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain).
You can also go to the discovery of some important towns in the vicinity of Rome such as Ostia Antica, Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este!
The planned activities are aimed at adults, children and families.
On request it is also possible to organize guided tours for private purposes in Italian, English and other languages.
Why they are great for your Rome Tours!
The team offer, great ‘off the beaten track’ tours, awesome guides, great customer service and more importantly, at an honest price!
I thoroughly enjoyed both my tours with L’Asino D’Oro and I will be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming tours.
I’ll be sure to let you guys know how they go!
This is not a paid post.
I asked L’Asino D’Oro if they would mind me writing about them, considering how happy I was taking part in their tours.
